Zagreb's Festival of Tolerance in Vienna
Festival of Tolerance – Zagreb Jewish Film Festivalwill be represented at the LET'S CEE Film Festival which will take place between September 13th and September 21st, 2013 in Vienna, Austria. To the audience of the LET'S CEE Film Festival, we will present two feature films. 'When Day Breaks', directed by Goran Paskaljević, which opened this year's, 7th edition of the Festival of Tolerance, through a remarkable story of a music professor Misha Brankov (Mustafa Nadarević)tells the story of theformer concentration camp Judenlager Semlin in Belgrade. The second film is 'The Third Half' directed by Darko Mitrevski and made in co-production of Macedonia, Czech Republic and the United States. 'The Third Half' is a a story of the FC Macedonia playersand their German-Jewish coach Rudolph Spitz who leads them towards the title of championsof the Nazi football league.
This year's edition of the LET'S CEE Film Festival includes around 50 extraordinary film achievements from Central and Eastern Europe. Among many others, the guest list also includes Branko Lustig, producer, two-time Academy Award winner ('Schindler's List', 'The Gladiator') and Honorary president of the Festival of Tolerance. One of this year's special highlights will be the screening of 'Schindler's List' in celebration of its 20th anniversary.
